MGC New Life Christian Academy (MGCNLCA) will return next school year with a full face-to-face setup and an increase in tuition fees.
During the Parent Consultation held at the auditorium this morning, Villanueva announced that the school will resume hosting in-person classes five days a week, alongside the resumption of clubs and other extracurricular activities.
The school principal confirmed that there will be an increase in tuition fees for the following school year due to the rise of inflation. Early Years, Lower Primary and Upper Primary levels are expected to see a rise of 8% in tuition fees, while Junior and Senior high school students will have an increase of 5% in their current tuition.
Villanueva also gave the parents a look on how this school year went in terms of activities during face to face classes, competitions, varsity achievements, and other extracurricular activities, along with some parenting tips.
IB-PYP Supervisor Mrs Michele Anog, for her part, gave an update on the progress of the learners under the IB-PYP, which is now in its second year of implementation.
Today’s parent’s consultation was the first time the school held such a gathering of parents onsite, since coming back from the pandemic.
“It was nice to be back to school today for the face to face meeting. For three years there was just zoom. Then this school year we weren’t allowed to attend any activity, hanggang hatid sundo lang. I felt detached from the school. So even if it’s far, early, and I had to take a few hours off work, I went to reconnect,” said Grade 5 parent Berdie Ong.
