Entrepreneurship and Marketing Summit Kickstarts MGCNL Partnership with Primer Group of Companies

Batch Olive and Zion Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) students had a taste of the world of business, marketing, and entrepreneurship during the first-ever The PriZM Project: Marketing and Entrepreneurship Summit last April 18, 2023, striking the beginning of a promising partnership between MGC New Life Christian Academy (MGCNLCA) and the Primer Group of Companies.

Handling renowned brands including Hydro Flask, Jansport, Herschel, and The Travel Club, among others, Primer Group of Companies welcomed the New Lifers into their headquarters where the students engaged in a series of talks from seasoned speakers, hands-on activations, and activities as a part of their requirement for their Entrepreneurship and HUMSS class.

The day kicked off with opening remarks followed by a short message on the importance of going forward, overcoming fear, and exploring options despite failures and difficulties.

Primer also arranged short icebreakers for the students to build excitement and eagerness as they began the talks and activations.

There were four workshops led by experts in the field that tackled basic essentials in entrepreneurship: brand profiling, customer persona, value proposition, and creative process of marketing.

After the workshops wrapped up, Primer closed the sessions by urging the students to work hard during the inspirational talk on success, mindsets, and leadership.

Culminating the event, Mrs. Helen Villanueva, the principal of MGCNLCA, gave her final closing remarks, expressing her deepest thanks and appreciation to the Primer Group of Companies for opening their doors and allowing the students this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

As the next step following this first venture into the partnership, Primer Group of Companies also excitedly announced its second partnership with MGCNLCA with regard to the internship program for the Senior High School students’ Inquiries, Investigations, and Immersion (III) requirement.
