Seven MGCNLCA players represented the school and bagged first place in the Taguig-Pateros Division meet last March 11, which was held at the Philippine Army Gym, advancing to the Palaro NCR Regional meet.
Among the qualified players are Kate Liao and Lexie Xiao, who are from the elementary team and who played in the women’s doubles category.
"Coming back from the pandemic, I’m glad that a lot of our players were able to get to the NCR stage, making all our hard work pay off," commented graduating player Rickson Tan.
The upcoming regional meet, which will be held in late April, won't be as easy, but the team is doing its absolute best in training and in bringing each other up. It’s just a matter of time before they bring home another medal.
