The school year officially opens on August 2 for grades 7 to 12 students. Class opening for pre-schoolers to 6th graders, however, has been moved to August 16 to further prepare for the implementation of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IBPYP).
117 new students and 66 new families join the growing MGCNLCA family, along with 28 new teachers, most of whom will be part of the IBPYP program in the lower grade levels.
MGCNLCA will implement DLIFE for the first semester for all grade levels. Blended learning might push through in the second semester, depending on the COVID situation in the country.
Prior to the school opening, the yearly orientations were done in various grade levels to give the parents an idea of what to expect this school year. The traditional school-wide prayer rally was also held last August 1 to usher in the 2nd year of DLIFE.
