Nate Punzalan On Loneliness During Quarantine

“Loneliness stems from being disconnected on an emotional level. One way to reconnect is to check up on your friends and listen to them when they open up,” said Christian inspirational speaker and local Youtuber Nate Puzalan when he spoke before the MGC New Life Christian Academy (MGCNLCA) high school student body last October 29 during a webinar entitled ”Isolation: Loneliness During Quarantine.” The webinar was held twice, once for Junior High School A and another for Junior High School B and Senior High School.

Through the online platform Zoom, Punzalan explained the connection between loneliness and the COVID-19 quarantine and the four steps one must use to deal with isolation properly. In the first part of Punzalan’s talk, he discussed the lack of face-to-face human interactions and the loneliness that sprouts from it. He then expounded that loneliness is an open topic that should be spoken of more frequently. Punzalan explained the four steps in dealing with loneliness, which included recognizing the problem, surrendering to God, reaching out, and reaching in. He ended by answering a series of the most liked questions through a site called pigeonhole.at.

Nate Punzalan posts his content on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. He posts with the hashtag, “#GoodMorningNate,” and has a podcast entitled “Paper Cup.”
